Smooth dimming for LED and traditional lamps

This rotary dimmer works in both trailing edge and leading edge modes, so it gives smooth, steady dimming whether you have LED or traditional lighting. It comes set to trailing edge, which suits dimmable LED lamps best: it is gentler on the LED driver, runs silently with no buzz or hum, and handles the low wattage of LEDs for flicker-free dimming. Switch it to leading edge for halogen and incandescent lamps. The minimum brightness can be adjusted to suit different fittings.

Control from two places

The dimmer supports 2 way switching, so the same lights can be controlled from two separate points, such as the top and bottom of the stairs, both ends of a hallway or either side of a large room.

5W to 150W load

It handles a load from 5W up to 150W, so it works with low-wattage LED lighting as well as higher-powered traditional lamps. Several LED lights can go on one dimmer as long as the total stays within 150W.

Compact and tidy

The white faceplate is 86 x 86mm and the body is 43.2mm deep, so it fits neatly in a standard wall switch position. The rotary knob makes it simple to use, and the polycarbonate body protects the parts inside. Step-by-step instructions come in the pack.

Fitting

It runs on the 220-240V AC mains and takes cable from 0.5mm² to 1.5mm². It complies with BS EN 60669-2-1. Have a qualified electrician fit it. To clean, wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
