Our fire-rated downlight features a sleek white bezel that complements any interior design. Additionally, it's a breeze to install. It is mains-powered, so it requires no separate driver or transformer. The downlight also features a twist-and-lock mechanism for quick bulb changes and a large loop-in/out push-fit terminal block for easy installation in series. Wire it directly to the mains circuit, add a bulb, and you're good to go!

This LED downlight is fire-rated to 30, 60, and 90 minutes for solid joist ceilings and is ideal for web and I-joist ceilings for 30 minutes of protection. It ensures that the hole cut for installation is completely resealed and reinforced to prevent fire from spreading, protecting your home's structure and preventing extreme damage.
You can safely place loose loft insulation over the rear of this downlight as it's insulation-coverable. However, you can only do this if you pair it with a GU10 LED lamp with a maximum power of 7w. Insulation helps release heat, decreases warmth, and lowers electrical consumption. Always verify the permissible use of lights and connections before installing anything over them, ensuring safety and compliance with safety regulations.
Another fantastic feature of this downlight is its tiltable head, so you can direct the light beam in the direction you want.
