Silver Surface Mounted LED Strip Profile, 2m, 23.5mm Wide, with Milky Diffuser

A neat housing for LED strip

This 2m aluminium profile covers a run of LED strip so it looks finished whether it's lit or not. One length covers a long shelf, a cove, a display edge or the underside of a row of kitchen units with fewer joins, and you can cut it to length for shorter runs. It also keeps dust off the strip and protects it from knocks.

Milky diffuser

The milky diffuser softens the light and spreads it evenly, so you see a smooth, continuous line rather than a row of dots. That matters where the strip is in view, in hallways, entrances, staircases, living rooms and bedrooms.

Takes most strip

Inside, the channel is 21.5mm wide, so it takes 8mm, 12mm and 15mm strip and wider strips up to 21.5mm. LED strip is sold separately.

Keeps the strip cool

The aluminium acts as a heat sink and draws heat away from the strip, which helps it last.

Fitting

The profile mounts on the surface using the clips and end caps included. The clips screw into place, so the run doesn't rely on the strip's adhesive backing, which can fail over time. If you're not used to electrical work, get an electrician to connect the strip.

Where to use it

It's rated IP20, so use it indoors and away from water.
