Mounting your lights flush into your ceiling is a space-saving way to have elegant lights that do not consume vertical space. However, are downlights your only option for recessed lighting? If you love your LED strip but are looking for ways to mount them recessed, then our recessed LED profile will do the trick! This accessory will enable you to flush your strip into your walls, ceiling or even furniture, creating a modern and fabulous aesthetic layout!
Our recessed LED profile is only 7mm deep, so it's perfect for shallow spaces. Also, with its top-quality frosted cover, it can eliminate the dotted effect that LED strips usually have and give you a seamless, even glow! This profile can only fit an IP20 strip (non-waterproof), please note that IP65 LED strip will not fit. Before purchasing your profile, make sure that you check the size of your strips to avoid wasting your money.
Since this is a recessed LED profile, it requires a 17.5mm wide & 7mm deep cut-out. Ensure that you get the measurements correct, or your profile will not fit or may be loose in your wall or ceiling (wherever you mount them). You don't want sloppy looking lights, right? This profile comes in 1-metre or 2-metre lengths, which is easily customisable to the size you need. You can butt multiple profiles together if you need something longer, and if you need something shorter, trim it to size using a hacksaw or other similar cutting tool.
While this profile can offer some protection to your strips from dust and water, it is NOT waterproof. So, if you plan on installing your LED tape in the bathroom or other damp areas, get an IP65 rated strip and a suitable profile to provide added protection. This LED profile is ideal in the kitchen, bedroom, living room, dining room and almost anywhere else you can imagine.
