Colour control for larger decking setups

This kit is an RGB LED controller with a remote, for a new set of RGB decking lights or to replace an old controller. With a 216w maximum load it suits bigger decks and longer runs of lights. It only works with 12V RGB decking lights, so check your lights before you order.

Modes and colours

The remote gives you 15 colour-changing modes, a switch between RGB colour and white light, and buttons to adjust brightness and speed. An instruction sheet in the box lists all 15 modes and shows the wiring.

12V DC only

The controller and its remote work at 12V DC. Don't use it with AC power or with 24V lights, as the wrong voltage can damage the controller or the lights. Match the voltage of the lights, the controller and the power supply.

216w maximum load

The controller handles up to 216w (6A), enough for more than 30 decking lights depending on their wattage. Add up the wattage of everything connected and keep the total under 216w. For smaller decks, a 72w controller is also available.

Built for outdoors

Rated IP67, the controller is sealed against dust, heavy rain and even brief submersion in shallow water, so it can sit outside with your decking lights.

Fitting

The leads have twist-lock connectors: a female connector for the power supply and a male connector for the lights. Line up the pins, twist and tighten the cap to seal the joint. The 130 x 80 x 55mm housing has fixing holes, so you can screw it to a wall, beam or post and keep it out of sight. The remote takes a 12V 23A battery, which is replaceable.
