Matt Black IP65 GU10 Downlight, Fixed, 85mm, Glass Diffuser

A black downlight for wet rooms

This fixed downlight is rated IP65, so it is protected against steam, splashes and water jets. Use it in bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens, utility rooms and sheltered outdoor spots such as porches and soffits.

Fixed and even

The fixed design keeps the ceiling tidy and sends the light straight down, so a row of them lights the room evenly without any aiming.

Matt black finish

The matt black bezel gives a ceiling crisp, modern contrast and absorbs light rather than reflecting it. It works on both light and dark ceilings.

Solid build

The body is iron, so the fitting sits firmly in the ceiling, and a glass diffuser protects the lamp and softens the light.

Lamp and dimming

The fitting takes a GU10 lamp up to 50w, so you choose the brightness and colour of light. To dim it, use a dimmable GU10 lamp with a compatible dimmer switch.

Fitting

Cut a 58mm hole. The downlight is not suitable for covering with loft insulation, so keep insulation clear of the back. Have a qualified electrician fit it, especially in bathroom zones.
