This LED downlight is insulation-coverable, allowing loft insulation to be placed loosely over its rear when paired with a GU10 LED lamp with a maximum power of 7w. This feature helps expel heat quickly, reducing room warmth and lowering electric bills. Also, its brushed chrome bezel enhances visual appeal and fits various interior design trends. Furthermore, the open-can design ensures an improved cooling system that allows the bulb you use with it to last long.
Our LED downlights are designed with a twist-and-lock mechanism and push-fit terminal block, allowing an effortless loop-in/out installation (this lets you link multiple downlights in series together). Depending on how many downlights you mount, envelop your home into stunning brightness these lights produce in hours.
In addition to all these features, these GU10 LED downlights are fire-rated to 30, 60 and 90 minutes of protection (solid joist ceilings) and are ideal for web and I-joist ceilings for 30 minutes of protection. It means that the holes you cut out to mount your lights are resealed and your ceiling is reinforced to extend the time it takes for a fire to spread through it. This safety feature is essential to give your family more time to escape an unforeseen event. Also, you'll only be dealing with minor damages to your home's structure.
You'll notice it does not come with bulbs with these downlights. We want to give our customers the freedom to choose what they need. You have the option above to select a GU10 LED bulb in a colour that fits your requirements—you could also select a dimmable GU10 bulb and pair it with an LED-compatible dimmer switch to take advantage of this downlight's dimming ability.
