This LED downlight is made from die-cast aluminium, ensuring durability and longevity. It is easily cleaned with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt, ensuring the light remains as good as new. The downlight is designed to fit any GU10 bulb, but we recommend using a dimmable GU10 bulb and compatible dimmer switches to utilise its dimming function. As for the GU10 bulbs, you can get them in cool white and natural white, which are ideal for task-oriented spaces and warm white light, which is perfect for relaxation zones.
Our LED downlight has a quick installation process. It has a twist-and-lock mechanism for quick bulb changes and a wiring block. It's also mains-powered, so no separate LED driver or transformer is needed. All you have to do is plan the positioning of the downlights, trim cut-out holes, wire the fixtures directly to the mains circuit, and add a bulb of your choice!
Knowing the dimensions of the downlight is essential, especially for recessed ones, as improvising may lead to issues like the cut-out hole being too small or too big. So, keep in mind this fitting has an 80mm diameter and requires a 65mm cut-out hole.
