The installation of this LED downlight is simple because it's mains powered. All you need to do is wire your fixture directly to the mains circuit, add a bulb, and you're done!

Note that this fire-rated downlight is 86 mm tall and 85mm in diameter and requires a 65mm cut-out hole. It's necessary that you get the measurements precisely because otherwise, you'll either have a downlight that's sticking out or hanging from your ceiling!

This LED downlight is fire-rated to 90 minutes of protection, meaning the holes you cut to install your fixtures are resealed, and your ceiling is fortified to extend the time it takes for the fire to spread. Also, there are no bulbs supplied with this LED downlight. However, since it's dimmable, you can pair it with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch to utilise its dimming function.
