This LED strip aluminium profile is designed with a polycarbonate frosted diffuser that tones down the harshness of your LED tape and makes it easier on the eyes. Plus, the dotted effect that your strip lights have, this cover blurs it out, so all you'll see is a gorgeous continuous light.
Our LED strip aluminium profile can only accommodate an IP20 rated (non-waterproof) LED tape, and anything other than that will not fit. It's 5.7mm tall, 18mm wide and has an internal width of 13.5mm. So, make sure that your strips do not exceed these measurements before you check out to avoid wasting your money and becoming disappointed with your purchase.
While some profiles are waterproof, this particular profile is not. It's ideal to use in the kitchen, bedroom, living room, or dining area. So, if you want to install your LED strip in your bathroom or in places that are constantly exposed to water and moisture, get an IP65 rated strip light and a compatible profile to protect it.
Installing this LED profile is simple, and everything that you'll need is in the package. Aside from that, it's available in 1-metre or 2-metre length and is easily customisable. You can trim it with a hacksaw or any similar cutting tool if you need a shorter length. Alternatively, you can butt multiple profiles together if you need it to be longer.
