Twenty-five matt black downlights

This pack has twenty-five matching fixed downlights in matt black, enough for a whole home or a larger project such as offices, flats or shops. On a pale ceiling the black gives crisp contrast; in a darker scheme it almost disappears, so the light does the work. Every fitting matches, so ceilings look even and planned from room to room.

Fixed and even

The fixed design keeps the ceiling tidy and sends the light straight down, so there's nothing to aim or knock out of line. Use them for general light in rooms, corridors and work areas.

Lamps and dimming

Each fitting takes a GU10 lamp up to 50w, sold separately, so you choose the brightness and colour of light. LED GU10 lamps keep running costs and heat down. To dim the lights, use dimmable GU10 lamps with a compatible dimmer switch.

Solid build

The body is iron, so the fittings hold their shape and alignment, and the matt black finish keeps its depth.

Fitting

Each downlight is 80mm across and needs a 58mm cut-out, so it suits new builds and refits alike. They are rated IP20, so use them in dry rooms such as living rooms, hallways, offices and shops. For bathrooms and outdoors, choose IP65 or higher. They are not suitable for covering with loft insulation. Have a qualified electrician fit them.
