While LED strips are a popular lighting solution, many are hesitant to use them in visible areas because the bare circuit board ruins the room's aesthetics. Fortunately, there's a solution for this! All you need to do is slip your strips inside our LED aluminium profile, and it will hide the not-so-visually appealing circuit board and give you a refined and exquisite finish.
This LED aluminium profile can accommodate all our LED tape (even IP65 rated strips), so you don't have to worry about the sizing! Plus, its frosted cover diffuses the light, ensuring that you have an even uniform glow that's not too harsh for the eyes. With this, even if you install your lights in areas directly in your line of sight, you won't feel uncomfortable.
Our LED aluminium profile is available in 1-metre or 2-metre but can be easily customised to get the length you need. If your project requires it to be longer, just butt together multiple profiles. On the other hand, trim it down to size using a hack saw or a similar cutting tool if it's necessary to be shorter. In addition, everything that you'll need is included with the profile, but if it's not enough, we have brackets and end caps that are sold separately.
In terms of waterproofing capabilities, this LED profile can only provide a minimal level of protection (both dust and water). It cannot entirely block off liquids from getting inside. So, if you plan on using this profile in your bathroom, you need to get an IP65 rated LED tape. This way, you are sure that your lights will not be damaged even if moisture and liquids slip through the profile.
