This LED downlight is designed for multi-function rooms, such as the dining room, kitchen, and bedroom because its adjustable gimbal can easily be adjusted to fit the space's requirements. It is also IP20-rated, so you can use it for different indoor applications. Furthermore, this downlight is insulation coverable, allowing you to place loft insulation loosely over its rear, but only if paired with a GU10 LED lamp with a maximum power of 7w.

Plus, it's mains-powered, so you don't need an independent driver or transformer. The downlight is fire-rated to 30, 60, and 90 minutes for solid joist ceilings and 30 minutes for web and I-joist ceilings. A fire-rated downlight like this is designed with an intumescent pad that activates at a specific temperature. This pad effectively blocks small gaps surrounding the downlight, preventing the fire from slipping through your ceiling and walls.
