Regular downlights cannot completely seal off the holes you cut to mount your lights. This compromises your ceiling's integrity, allowing the fire to spread throughout your home. To solve this, you'll need a fire-rated downlight like our LED downlight! This fixture is fire-rated to 30, 60, and 90 minutes of protection (solid joists) and ideal for web and I-joist ceilings for 30 minutes of protection, sealing off the hole you cut and reinforcing your ceiling to delay the fire spread.

This LED downlight is adaptable and matches a variety of interior design styles because it has a brushed chrome bezel. It also ensures the bulb's long lifespan with its open-can construction (better cooling performance). 

Installing this downlight is easy because it has a twist-and-lock mechanism that allows quick bulb changes! It's also mains-powered, so you don't need a driver or transformer to make it work. Just connect the fixture directly to the mains circuit, add a bulb, and you're good to go! 

Remember, this downlight is 113mm tall and 90mm in diameter, requiring a 75mm cut-out hole. Be accurate with your measurements to ensure they will not stick out or fall off your ceiling! Also, it is insulation-coverable, given that you pair it with a 7w GU10 bulb max.

This fire-rated downlight does not include bulbs, but it is made with a GU10 holder, so it works with any GU10 bulb. Since it's a dimmable fitting, it's ideal to use a dimmable GU10 bulb and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch so you can utilise the dimming function!
