Trendi 1 Gang Screwless CAT5 or CAT6 Data Socket with Shutter, Glossy Silver

A glossy silver data socket

This 1 gang data socket takes CAT5 or CAT6 cable for a wired computer or network connection. It has a glossy silver faceplate, a white shutter that covers the socket when it is not in use, and no screws on show, so it matches the rest of a silver switch and socket set in a living room, bedroom or kitchen.

Clip-on cover plate

The screws sit behind a clip-on cover plate once the module is fixed. Other cover plates from the same range clip on, so you can change the finish later without refitting the socket.

Made to last

The module casing and faceplate are fireproof ABS plastic. The cover plate resists scratches and will not fade in direct sunlight, and the gloss finish wipes clean with a dry cloth.

Fitting

It swaps straight for an existing data socket with no extra wiring. Screws and instructions are included. If you are not confident doing the work, ask an electrician to fit it.
