Traditional Wall Lantern, Leaded Glass, Black and Silver, E27, IP23, 4 Sided

A classic leaded glass lantern

This four sided wall lantern has leaded effect glass panels for a traditional, Victorian look. It suits period homes, and adds character to a doorway, porch or garden wall in a modern home too. Glass on all four sides spreads the light evenly around the lantern.

Black and silver finish

Black with silver highlights gives the lantern an aged, weathered look. Underneath, the frame is aluminium, so it won't rust or tarnish the way old cast lanterns did.

Choose your bulb

It has a standard E27 lamp holder, so you choose the bulb. The bulb is not included. Use a bulb up to 60w; an LED filament bulb gives a traditional warm glow with lower running costs, and a white LED bulb gives a brighter, more modern light.

Where to fit it

The lantern is rated IP23, which gives only light protection against water and dust. Fit it indoors, for example by an inside doorway or entrance, or in a fully sheltered outdoor spot such as a covered porch or walkway, out of the rain.

Fitting

The lantern runs on 220-240v mains and connects straight to the circuit with no driver or transformer. Have a qualified electrician fit it. It is not dimmable.
