Round 30mm LED Plinth Light, 1w, Natural White 4000K, 12V DC, Silver

A single plinth light

This round 30mm plinth light is sold on its own, so you can build a run to the exact length you need, add lights to an existing set, or replace one. Fit it in kitchen kickboards, along hallways or under bathroom units to wash the floor with soft light.

Light

It gives 50 lumens of natural white at 4000K over a 60° beam, using just 1w. Average life is 20,000 hours.

Size and finish

The light is 30mm across with a silver finish, needs a 28mm hole and is 25mm deep. It comes on a 2m cable.

Powering it

The light runs at 12V DC, so it needs a 12V LED driver, sold separately. An 8W driver will run up to six of these lights. Wire the driver to a light switch, or fit a plug and use a socket.

Dimming and control

The light is dimmable. Use a 12V remote dimming controller, or a dimmable LED driver with a compatible wall dimmer; a dimmable driver needs a load of at least 3 watts to work properly. Door, touch or hand-wave sensors can also be added to the circuit.
