Recti Super Slim 5w LED Cabinet Light with Driver, Colour Selectable, Brushed Brass

A brass cabinet light, ready to plug in

This kit has one Recti cabinet light in brushed brass and the 12V LED driver it needs, so there's no separate power supply to choose. The driver turns mains power into a steady 12V for the light, which avoids the risk of picking the wrong one.

Slim and discreet

The light is 150 x 65mm and only 4mm thick, so it sits flat under wall units, shelves, display units and wardrobe rails. The brushed brass finish has a soft sheen rather than a mirror shine, and it hides fingerprints better than polished metal.

Set the colour

A switch on the side sets warm, natural or cool white. Warm white gives a softer light for the evening, natural white suits food preparation, and cool white is good for close work.

Output

The light gives 400 lumens from 5w, about 80 lumens per watt, over a 120° beam that spreads evenly across a worktop. Average life is 20,000 hours.

Fitting

A 2m cable runs from the light to the driver, so you can hide the driver inside a cupboard. Plug and play extension cables in 2m or 5m lengths are sold separately. If you add more lights to the driver, check it can take the extra load. The kit is not dimmable, because the supplied driver is non-dimmable.

Where to fit it

It's rated IP20, so use it in dry indoor spaces such as kitchens, wardrobes, shelves and display units, away from sinks.
