Hands-free light in busy rooms

This recessed PIR sensor turns the connected lights on when someone walks in and off again after a set time with no movement. It suits kitchens, pantries, store rooms, utility rooms, hallways and toilets, where you often have your hands full or forget to switch off.

Wide coverage

It detects all the way round, with 360° coverage and a range of up to 8m (at temperatures below 24°C). It picks up movement at walking speeds of 0.6 to 1.5m/s.

Set it to suit the room

The time delay can be set from about 10 seconds up to about 15 minutes, so lights stay on as long as you need. The daylight sensor can be set from under 3 lux to 2000 lux, so it can stop the lights coming on when there's enough daylight.

Load and power

The sensor runs on 220-240V AC mains and can switch up to 400W of LED lighting. Keep the total connected load within that limit.

Fitting

It fits flush into a ceiling through a 40mm cut-out. The black PC body is 50mm across and 62mm deep, so check the space above before you cut. Installation and mains wiring must be done by a qualified electrician. It is rated IP20, so fit it indoors.
