Lights that come on as you walk in

This ceiling PIR sensor switches the connected lights on when it detects someone and off again after a set time with no movement. It suits hallways, bathrooms, utility rooms, stairwells, porches and covered patios, so lights aren't left on in empty spaces.

360° coverage

Mounted on the ceiling, it watches a full circle around it, up to 8m away (at temperatures below 24°C), and picks up movement at walking speeds of 0.6 to 1.5m/s. It works best fitted at a height of 2.2m to 4m.

Set it to suit the room

The time delay runs from 10 seconds to 30 minutes, so lights stay on briefly in a corridor or longer in a room people use for a while. The daylight sensor can be set from 0.3 to 2000 lux, so the lights don't come on when there's already enough natural light.

Sealed to IP65

The housing is sealed against dust and water jets, so the sensor can go in bathrooms, damp areas and sheltered outdoor spots. The white polycarbonate body is UV-resistant, so it doesn't fade or crack in sunlight.

Load and fitting

It handles up to 600W of LED or energy-saving lighting, or 1200W of incandescent lighting, on a 220-240V AC supply. It fits flush in a 63-66mm cut-out; the face is 76mm across and the body 49mm deep. Have a qualified electrician fit it.
