One fitting for safe, automatic lighting

This round LED bulkhead combines a microwave sensor, an emergency function and a corridor function, so a corridor, stairwell or shared area is lit when people are there and stays lit if the mains supply fails. It suits hotels, care homes, hospitals and blocks of flats, where light needs to be there whenever someone moves through.

Sensor and corridor function

The microwave sensor switches the light on when it picks up movement. With the corridor function as well, the bulkhead is made for walkways and communal areas that are used on and off through the day and night.

Emergency backup

If the mains supply fails, the emergency function keeps the bulkhead lit so people can still find their way.

Efficient and low maintenance

The bulkhead runs at 16-30w and gives 120 lumens per watt. Average life is around 40,000 hours, so it needs little maintenance. The colour is selectable.

Fitting

The smooth white cover is 435mm across and 100mm deep. The bulkhead runs on 220-240v mains with no driver needed. It is IP20, so fit it indoors in dry areas. It is not dimmable. If you're not confident with electrics, have an electrician fit it.
