Bright, even light for garages and workshops

This kit builds five linked hexagons from 24 T5 LED tubes. It gives 20,800 lumens from 160w, about 130 lumens per watt, so one kit can light a garage bay or a workshop ceiling on its own.

Each tube has a 120° beam angle. Light comes from every edge of the grid, so there are fewer shadows around cars, benches and tools.

6500K cool white

The colour temperature is fixed at 6500K, a crisp cool white that suits detailing, inspection and close work. CRI is above 80, so paint and materials look close to how they do in daylight. The tubes are flicker-free and non-dimmable.

What comes in the kit

You get the 24 tubes, 20 quick connectors that join them and hold the hexagon shape, and the mounting hardware. Each tube is 440mm long and 23.6mm square, with a lightweight polycarbonate body that is easy to handle on a ladder.

The grid fits to a ceiling or a wall. Assembled, it measures 2375mm by 1645mm, so measure the space before you order.

Where to use it

The kit is rated IP20, so keep it indoors and away from moisture. It is used in garages, auto detailing bays, workshops, showrooms, gyms and retail units.
