This LED Downlight is insulation coverable, given that you only use it with a GU10 lamp with a maximum of 7w power. If you choose an LED bulb with a higher lumen count (but still within the range of the downlight), insulation cannot be placed over the lights.

In addition, this LED Downlight is fire-rated to 90 minutes of protection, ensuring that the hole you trim to mount your lights is completely resealed and your ceiling is fortified to prolong the time when the fire will spread. It is also suitable for solid joist and I-joist ceilings, which only a few lighting fixtures can offer.

Installing this LED downlight is quick and effortless due to its features that streamline the mounting process. With a large screwless terminal block and quick connectors, you can easily do a loop-in/out connection.
