Motion sensing for RF lighting

This battery powered PIR sensor switches compatible 2.4GHz RF LED controllers and smart lights on when it detects movement. When it triggers, the lights come on at full brightness or at their last setting. It can also act as a simple intrusion warning, lighting a space when someone walks in.

Hold time and light sensing

Set how long the lights stay on after the last movement, from 30 seconds up to an hour, and they turn off on their own when the space is empty. A light sensor stops the lights coming on when the room is already bright, so they only run when they're needed.

Night mode

Night mode brings the lights on at just 1% brightness, enough to find your way to the bathroom without waking yourself up fully.

Range

It detects movement up to 7m away over a 120° angle, and links to the lights over 2.4GHz RF at up to 30m. All the devices you pair it with must use 2.4GHz RF. To pair, press the small button on the sensor and follow the manual.

No wiring

The sensor runs on one CR123A 3V battery, so there's nothing to wire. The magnetic base has an adhesive backing to stick on a wall, ceiling or cabinet, and the sensor rotates 360° on it so you can aim it. Mount it about 2m high where people walk past. Take the battery out if it won't be used for a long time.

Where to use it

It is rated IP54 against dust and splashes. Use it indoors: bedrooms, stairs, hallways, kitchens, wardrobes and storerooms, or bathroom zone 2, away from the shower. It is not for outdoor use.
