Eight low-level lights in one kit

Eight plinth lights cover a good run of kitchen kickboards, an island, a hallway or a staircase. They light the floor so you can find your way at night without switching on the main lights, and they add some depth to the room in the evening.

What's in the kit

The kit has eight round plinth lights and an LED driver. Wire the driver straight into the mains, or fit a plug and use a socket. Each light has a 2m cable that connects to the driver.

Light and power

All eight lights together use just 4.8w. They give natural white at 4000K, a neutral light with no yellow or blue tint, over an 80° beam. Average life is 30,000 hours.

Fitting

The lights are recessed, so cut a 25mm hole for each one. They're only 15mm deep, which suits thin kickboards. The 30mm face has a brushed chrome finish that goes with most kitchens and hallways.

Things to know

The kit isn't dimmable. It's rated IP20, so it's for dry indoor areas, not bathrooms or outdoors.
