A sensor that fixes straight to the ceiling

This microwave sensor surface mounts on the ceiling, so it needs no cut-out, and the white finish keeps it discreet on a white ceiling. It switches the connected lights on when it detects movement and off again after a set time.

360° coverage

It watches a full circle around it, so there are no blind spots as you walk in from any direction. The detection radius can be set from 1m to 8m to suit a corridor, a room or a larger open space. Mount it at a height of 2m to 6m, which covers compact corridors through to open commercial spaces.

Microwave detection

The sensor uses a 5.8GHz CW microwave signal rather than detecting body heat, so it picks up small movements and can sense through furniture and partitions.

Set it to suit the room

The time delay runs from 10 seconds to 12 minutes, so you can choose how long the lights stay on after the last movement. The daylight sensor can be set from below 3 lux to 2000 lux, so the lights do not come on when there is already enough natural light.

Load and supply

It handles up to 1000W of LED or energy-saving lighting, or 2000W of incandescent lighting, on a 220-240V supply, enough for several fittings from one sensor. The housing is UV-resistant polycarbonate, so it resists discolouring, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor use. Have a qualified electrician fit it.
