Emergency light for escape routes

This emergency bulkhead runs on a standard 220-240V AC supply and draws only 3.5W. When the power fails it gives 150 lumens from 1W for up to 3 hours, keeping corridors, stairwells, car parks, loading areas and exits visible so people can get out safely. Its 16 SMD 2835 LEDs spread the light evenly along escape routes.

Maintained or non-maintained

Set it as maintained to stay lit all the time and carry on through a power cut, or as non-maintained to come on only when the power fails, to suit offices, apartment blocks and commercial premises. A multi-directional exit sticker is supplied to mark the way out.

Auto test

A switchable auto test or manual test mode lets the unit check itself routinely, which cuts down on in-person inspections. The test button and green indicator give a quick visual check that it is working.

Tough housing

The ABS base, gear tray and PC diffuser are rated IP66 against dust and water jets and IK07 against impact. It works in ambient temperatures up to 45°C, indoors or in sheltered outdoor areas, and fits on a ceiling or wall.

Battery

A 3.2V 1500mAh LiFePO4 battery powers the light in emergency mode and recharges fully in 24 hours after use.

Fitting

The bulkhead measures 355 x 115 x 63mm. Have a qualified electrician fit it and check it against your emergency lighting plan.
