Sensor and emergency light in one

This 13w polo bulkhead does two safety jobs. A built-in microwave sensor turns it on when it detects movement, so stairwells, corridors and entrances are lit when someone uses them and not all night. If the mains power fails, its emergency backup keeps it lit so people can find their way out.

Bright natural white

It gives 1,396 lumens of natural white 4000K light from 13w, about 107 lumens per watt. Natural white is crisp and clear, which helps people see steps and exits. The wide 120° beam covers a broad area, so fewer fittings light a space.

Where to use it

Use it in corridors, stairwells, car parks, garages and by exit doors. It is rated IP54: dust protected and safe from splashing water, so it suits indoor spaces and covered outdoor areas such as a covered walkway, but not where it takes direct jets of water.

Fitting

The round white bulkhead is 315mm across and 81mm deep and can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. It runs on 220-240v mains. It is not dimmable. Average life is 25,000 hours. Have a qualified electrician fit it, and test the emergency function in line with your building's routine.
