Emergency light for 110V sites

This emergency bulkhead runs on a 110V AC supply, the standard on UK building sites, and lights up when the power fails to keep walkways, stairwells, plant rooms and site cabins visible. In emergency mode it gives 150 lumens from 1W for up to 3 hours, long enough for people to get out safely.

Maintained or non-maintained

Set it as maintained to stay lit all the time and carry on through a power cut, or as non-maintained to come on only when the power fails. A multi-directional exit sticker is supplied to mark the way out.

Built for site conditions

The housing has an ABS base, a gear tray and a PC diffuser that softens the light from the 16 SMD LEDs. It's rated IP66 against dust and water jets and IK07 against impact, and works in ambient temperatures up to 45°C.

Battery and testing

A 3.2V 1500mAh LiFePO4 battery powers the light in emergency mode and takes 24 hours to charge fully. The built-in test button and green indicator let you check the unit and its charge at a glance, without taking it apart.

Fitting

The bulkhead measures 351 x 111 x 63mm and draws up to 3.5W. Have a qualified electrician connect it to the 110V supply.
