Tiny points of light at floor level

Microdot plinth lights are only 11mm across, so all you see in the kickboard is a small chrome ring and a dot of light. Fit them under kitchen units and islands, along hallway skirting or beside stairs to light the floor and make the room easier to move around in the dark.

What's in the kit

You get ten microdot lights and an LED driver. The driver can be wired into the mains and run from a wall switch, or you can fit a plug to it and use a socket. Each light comes on a 2m cable, which gives you room to space them out along a run of units.

Light and power

The lights give natural white at 4000K, a neutral light with no yellow or blue cast. All ten together use 6w. Each has a 60° beam and an average life of 20,000 hours.

Size and finish

Each light needs an 8mm hole and is 8.5mm deep, so it fits thin kickboards. The polished chrome finish suits most kitchen handles and taps.

Adding more lights

You can add more microdot lights to the same driver later, as long as the total load stays within what the driver can take.

Things to know

The kit is not dimmable. It is rated IP20, so fit it indoors and keep it away from water.
