This LED downlight is a pack of 25 and is IP20-rated, making it suitable for various indoor installations. It is not water-resistant. However, you may install it in multiple areas, such as dining rooms, home offices, laundry rooms, living rooms, hallways, pantries, bedrooms, and storage rooms. The downlight is fixed, and the direction of the light beams is unchangeable once installed. Therefore, double-check the positioning before trimming a cut-out hole.
The downlight works with any GU10 bulb, but pairing it with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch is required to utilise its dimming function. The GU10 bulb comes in cool white, natural white, and warm white light, which you can either use for task or ambient lighting. In addition, this downlight's polished chrome finish makes it a versatile addition to various design schemes, blending in seamlessly.
The downlight is insulation-coverable, which means loft insulation can be placed loosely over its rear. However, it's only possible the downlight is paired with a GU10 LED lamp with a maximum power of 7w. Our downlight also has an open-can design, which ensures that the bulb you use with it will last long!
This LED downlight is fire-rated to 30, 60, and 90 minutes of protection for solid joist ceilings and 30 minutes for web and I-joist ceilings. Its intumescent pad activates when exposed to a specific temperature, blocking the small gaps surrounding the fixture and preventing fire entry.
Installing and maintaining this downlight is a stress-free process, thanks to its twist and lock mechanism, which allows for quick bulb changes. It also has an easy loop-in/out, so you don't need to deal with screws. Furthermore, this downlight is mains-powered, eliminating the need for an individual driver or transformer. With simple steps like planning the placement, trimming the cut-out hole, wiring it to the mains circuit, and adding the desired GU10 bulb, you can have your space illuminated in no time.
