This LED downlight features a non-dimmable 4.5w GU10 bulb with a warm white light colour. It produces 400 lumens maximum brightness and a wide 110-degree beam angle. Also, its slimline bezel with a brushed chrome finish complements various furniture pieces and decor items and matches different design schemes!
You can cover this LED downlight with insulation only if you use a GU10 LED lamp that does not exceed 7w of power. In addition, it is fire-rated to 90 minutes of protection. This means that the holes you cut to install the fitting are resealed, fortifying your ceiling and preventing fire from spreading for 90 minutes. A fire-rated downlight like this has an intumescent pad that activates when exposed to a specific temperature. Because of this, it can block even minor gaps where fire can pass through. This downlight is also suitable for solid joist and I-joist ceilings, which is not common with other fixtures.
Our downlight is easy to install! It has a large screwless terminal block and quick connectors for quick loop-in/out connections. It is also mains-powered, eliminating the need for a separate LED driver or transformer.
