This LED downlight has a GU10 lamp hold and can accommodate any GU10 LED bulb (not included). However, we recommend getting a dimmable GU10 bulb so you can use this downlight's dimming function.
Furthermore, we also advise using a GU10 LED bulb no higher than 7w to ensure you can cover it with insulation. Using downlights with higher-wattage bulbs within their capacity is permissible, but insulation covering will not be possible.
When cutting holes for your downlights, ceiling fire safety is compromised. Fortunately, our LED downlight can fix that problem! It can reseal those holes and reinforce your ceiling to prolong the spread of fire (90 minutes). Additionally, this fire-rated downlight works with solid and I-joists.
Our mains-powered LED downlight is designed with your convenience in mind. With quick connectors for easy loop-in/out connections and a screwless terminal block, installation is a breeze. Plus, you won't need separate transformers or LED drivers! Just trim the 65mm to 75mm cut-out hole, add a bulb, and put insulation in it, and you're ready to enjoy the benefits of our downlights.
