17.5W LED Bulkhead Gear Tray with Microwave Sensor, Dimmable, 3 Hour Emergency, Colour Switchable 3000K/4000K/6500K

Sensor, dimming and emergency in one tray

This gear tray replaces the old tray inside a bulkhead fitting and turns it into an LED light with a motion sensor, dimming and emergency backup. It suits corridors, stairwells, bathrooms, plant rooms and other areas where light is needed when people pass through and must stay on in a power cut. Use it to repair or retrofit old bulkheads, or in new fittings. It is a gear tray only.

Light only when it's needed

A built-in microwave sensor switches the light on when someone walks in and off again when they leave, so lights aren't left burning in empty rooms.

Emergency light

If the mains fails, the built-in emergency module keeps the light on for up to three hours, long enough for people to find their way out safely.

Dimmable

The light can be dimmed when full brightness isn't needed, which cuts power use and softens the light. It stays flicker-free when dimmed.

Pick the colour

A switch sets warm white 3000K for a relaxed feel, natural white 4000K for working, or cool white 6500K for crisp, bright light.

Output

The tray gives 1725 lumens from 17.5w over a wide 120° beam, so fewer fittings are needed to light an area evenly. The LEDs sit on an aluminium circuit board. Average life is 35,000 hours.

Fitting

The tray runs from 220-240v mains and has quick-fit terminals for fast wiring. It works in temperatures from -10°C to +40°C. The tray is rated IP20 on its own, so it should be fitted inside a bulkhead housing. Have a qualified electrician fit it.
