Our fire-rated downlight is dimmable, so you have the freedom to manipulate the brightness level of your lights. These downlights are fire-rated to 90 minutes protection. This means the hole that's cut to install the downlight is resealed, reinforcing the ceiling and extending the time it takes for fire to spread through it. With this, in the unfortunate event that a fire happens, you'll have more time to evacuate as well as hopefully lessening the blow on the physical structure of your home.

We do not include the bulbs with this downlight because everyone has different lighting preferences. However, we recommend using a dimmable GU10 bulb, in conjunction with a dimmer switch, to utilise the dimming function of this fitting. In addition, take note that this downlight has an 82mm diameter and a 108mm height that requires a 72mm cut-out hole. Ensure that your electrician knows this, so you're confident that your lights will be installed properly.
