2m Surface LED Profile with LEDs Fitted, 24V Plug and Play, 10W/m, Warm White 3000K, Anthracite

This 2m surface LED profile adds a warm line of light to furniture. The LEDs are already fitted inside the aluminium profile, and the pack includes mounting brackets and a matching 2m input cable. Cut it to suit the joinery, push the connections together and plug it into a 24V plug and play furniture driver, sold separately.

Light for existing cabinets and shelves

The profile fixes onto the furniture surface with its brackets, so it suits cupboard undersides, shelves and display units where you don't want to rout a recess. You may still need fixings and holes for the cable route.

Cut to length without soldering

Cut the profile to length with a hacksaw or a suitable machine saw, with the power off. The electrical connections are push-fit, so you don't need to solder a new connection onto the cut piece. Follow the fitting instructions.

Both pieces still work after cutting. Cut a 2m profile into two 1m pieces and the supplied cable powers one of them; add another matching input cable to power the second piece separately. The brackets are already in the pack, so the extra cable is the only extra part you need.

Warm white light

The light is warm white at 3000K. Power is 10W per metre, or 20W for the full 2m, and the light output is 450 lumens per metre. The anthracite finish gives a dark edge around the lit section.

Choose the right driver

One uncut 2m profile is a 20W load, so a 15W furniture driver is too small; a 36W driver can run it. For several fittings, add up their wattages and count the separately powered connections. You can load a driver up to its full rated total; keeping about 20% spare is good practice, not a rule. Each 24V output is limited to 3A (72W) as well as the driver total.

Joining sections

For a straight end-to-end join, use the matching in-line connector. To bridge a gap or turn a corner, use the joining cable instead. Check the parts fit and the total load before you connect the run.

Add a control

An optional sensor or PWM touch dimmer from the same plug and play range controls the lights on the same driver. Use a door sensor for a cupboard, a touch dimmer for adjustable light, or separate drivers where areas need their own control.

For joiners and DIY projects

The ready-made fitting gives joiners and cabinet makers a repeatable way to light bespoke work, and DIY customers can use the same connections for a shelf or cupboard. Exhibition builders can build it into display furniture, with the stand supply and cable routes planned separately.
