20w LED Dome Bulkhead with Microwave Sensor and 3 Hour Emergency, Colour Selectable, IP65

A light that comes on when you walk in

This round dome bulkhead has a microwave sensor that switches the light on when it picks up movement, and a daylight sensor that keeps it off when there's already enough natural light. It suits hallways, porches, garages, stairwells, car parks and apartment blocks, anywhere lights are often left on in empty spaces.

Sensor settings

The sensor covers 360° when the light is on a ceiling, or 120° on a wall, over an area of about 6m by 3m, and picks up movement at 0.5 to 3m/s. You can set the daylight level from 2 to 50 lux and the hold time from 5 seconds to 30 minutes.

Emergency backup

A built-in LiFePO4 3.2V 2Ah battery keeps the light on for more than 3 hours if the mains fails. In standby it uses just 1.2w.

Brightness and colour

At 20w it gives 2600 lumens, or 130 lumens per watt, over a 110° beam. You can also set it to 8w or 16w for less light, and choose warm, natural or cool white. It is not dimmable. Average life is 30,000 hours.

Tough and weatherproof

The white polycarbonate body is rated IP65 against dust and water jets and IK08 against impact, so the light can go outside, in bathrooms or in busy public areas.

Fitting

A hinged tray opens up for wiring and maintenance, so it's quick to fit and to service. It runs on 220-240V AC mains. Have a qualified electrician fit it.
