This IP65 fire rated downlight is water and dustproof, so it's safe to install even in zone 1 of your bathroom. You don't have to worry about these fixtures getting wet with the splashes and jets of water because they are built with protection against those. Our IP65 fire rated downlights have a completely screwless installation and a large loop in/out terminal block with push-fit connectors. This allows multiple fittings to be wired in series instead of having to wire each fitting back to the one main point. It will save your electrician time and energy when they mount your lights! Aside from that, these lights are 115mm long (including the push-fit terminal) with an 86mm diameter that requires an 75mm cut-out hole. Make sure to take note of these measurements so your lights will be installed properly!
We do not include the bulbs with this downlight as standard because everyone has different light preferences. So, to better accommodate yours, we opted to leave them out and give our customers the freedom to choose what suits their needs. However, since the fixture is dimmable, we suggest adding a dimmable GU10 bulb in conjunction with a dimmer switch to utilise the dimming function.
