Furthermore, our downlight is fire-rated for 30, 60, and 90 minutes for solid timber joist ceilings and 30 minutes for web and I-joist ceilings. It has a built-in intumescent pad that triggers when exposed to a specific temperature, preventing fire from entering through the crevices surrounding the downlight!
