The downlight comes with a non-dimmable GU10 LED bulb, which consumes only 4.5w of power to produce a 400 lumens maximum brightness with a wide 110-degree beam angle to showcase your interior. It also has a natural white light colour temperature, which has no hints of blue or yellow, unlike warm white light with a yellowish tint and cool white light with a crisp bluish hue.

The downlight is fire-rated to 90 minutes of protection, ensuring that it reseals entirely the hole you cut to mount your fitting using its built-in intumescent pad that activates when exposed to a specific temperature. This downlight is also ideal for solid and I-joists, making your home fire-safe.

Installation is quick and easy because this LED downlight has a large screwless terminal block and quick connectors for quick loop-in/out connections. It is also mains-powered, eliminating the need for a separate LED driver or transformer. If you're not confident doing the mounting yourself, calling an electrician to do it for you is best. This LED downlight is also insulation-coverable, but you must use a maximum 7w GU10 LED bulb. You cannot cover the lights if you select an LED bulb with a higher lumen count.
