Point the light where you want it

This matt black downlight tilts, so you can aim the light rather than only shining it straight down. Use it to pick out artwork, shelves, worktops and architectural features in living rooms, kitchens, hallways and shops. Its beam is wider than a spotlight's, so it lights a feature without a harsh hot spot.

Matt black finish

The matt black bezel stands out against a light ceiling for a modern or industrial look, or blends into a dark ceiling. The fitting sits recessed and takes up little height, so it suits low ceilings where a pendant won't work.

Lamps and dimming

The fitting takes a GU10 lamp up to 50w, sold separately, so you choose the brightness and colour: warm, cool, colour changing or smart. LED GU10 lamps use far less energy than halogen. To dim the light, use a dimmable GU10 lamp with a compatible dimmer switch.

Fitting

The 90mm bezel needs a 75mm cut-out, a standard size that often matches the holes left by old downlights. The downlight connects straight to the mains, with no driver or transformer, and runs on 100-240V. It is rated IP20, so use it in dry indoor rooms, and it is not suitable for covering with loft insulation. Have a qualified electrician fit it.
