Enter the number of metres you need as the quantity, so a quantity of 5 gets you 5 metres.

Bright warm white strip

This 12V LED tape gives a warm, yellowish white at 3000K, close to an old filament bulb. It's bright enough to light a worktop, at 1198 lumens per metre, and soft enough for ambient lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, bars, hotels and restaurants.

Where it works

Use it under kitchen cupboards, along shelves, inside display cases, around mirrors, in ceiling coves and in hard to light spots such as lofts, cellars and garages. It's rated IP20, so keep it dry and indoors.

Output and life

Each metre uses 10w and spreads its light over a 120° beam. Average life is 50,000 hours.

Fitting

Clean the surface, peel off the backing and press the 8mm tape into place. It can be cut every 25mm, so round your lengths down to the nearest 25mm.

Driver and dimming

The tape runs on 12V DC and can't be wired straight to the mains. Size the driver by multiplying 10w by your total length in metres and rounding up: 2m needs at least 20w. Several lengths can share one driver as long as it isn't overloaded. Use a standard driver with a remote or wall controller, or a dimmable driver with an LED compatible wall dimmer.

Specifications

Type: LED tape, single colour, 120 LEDs per metre

Colour: warm white 3000K

Power: 10w per metre

Light output: 1198 lumens per metre

Beam angle: 120°

Voltage: 12V DC

Dimmable: yes

Width: 8mm

Cut points: every 25mm

IP rating: IP20

Average life: 50,000 hours

Sold: per metre

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0596/9772/5645/files/slgled120-3000k-product-lighted-camera-2.1971-compressed.jpg?v=1792187709
